PFI SWP Series String Wound gard filter cartridges are designed for a variety of prefiltration applications such as SDI (service deionization), reverse osmosis, and CDI (Continuous Deionization) systems. Wound gard benang cartridges are composed of bleached white cotton string wound polypropylene over a polypropylene core.

String wound filter cartridge benang adalah filter berbentuk silinder yang terbuat dari benang polipropilen ataupun bahan katun yang dililitkan secara presisi di sekitar inti pusat (core). Desain PROFILTER menciptakan struktur berlapis yang efektif dalam menangkap partikel dari berbagai ukuran. Filter ini terkenal karena daya tahan, efisiensi tinggi, dan kompatibilitas kimia yang luas. Pada poros tengah filter tersebut bisa menggunakan bahan baja anti karat (stainless steel) maupun plastik berlubang, untuk mengatur laju jalannya cairan.
